Why didn’t you take it back from her?
I’m a gentleman, what can I say.

that’s no way to talk to someone who writes songs for a living. You wouldn’t cuddle and I was cold.
You’re not the only songwriter around here. It’s so good having you back.

“It was interesting, I mostly went shopping. But that’s what I usually do anyways.” she said laying her head on his shoulder smiling slightly as he wrapped his arms around her. “Why did it take so long to get here?” she asked him as she put her hand on his chest softly. “It felt like forever, but it was only a couple days. I don’t like being away from you for a long time, especially when one of us is on tour.” she said looking at the tv but then looked back at him smiling softly.
“Sounds like you had fun.” Joe spoke with a smile on his face as his thumbs drew circles on her arms. “I.. stayed at a friends house for a few days since I figured you’d be in Vegas. Nothing big. You know I hate being away from you too but at least we’re together now.” He replied as he leant in and connected their lips once more, making up for the time they’d spent away from each other. “I missed your kisses.” Joe stated cheerfully.
She smiled following him into the bedroom leaning against the wall. “I was thinking just staying in and cuddling. I just want you to myself.” she said looking at him. She walked over to him hugging him tightly. “and I definitely missed you more.” she said softly before kissing him softly. She pulled away from the kiss smiling at him softly. “I love you, so much.” she said looking at him rubbing his back softly.
“You have me to yourself.” Joe replied as his arms snaked around her waist, returning the hug. “Mhm, I don’t think so.” He mumbled against her lips before pulling back slightly. “I love you too Tay, I really do.” Joe loosened his grip on her waist and guided her over to the bed, switching the TV on as they walked past it. “So, how was Vegas?” He asked her as he lay back, wrapping her in his arms.
She smiled wrapping her arms around his neck slowly as he leaned in to kiss her. She closed her eyes kissing him back softly. She pulled away looking him in the eyes, “I missed you more baby.” she said keeping her arms around his neck. It seemed like it was forever ago since she last saw him or was in his arms. She was happy to have him here finally. She kissed him softly then she put her forehead against his softly.
Joe smiled into the kiss as their lips moved softly in sync with each other. Resting his forehead against her, he pecked her lips once more before saying, “That’s impossible.” Joe honestly hated spending time away from Taylor but being here with her now made up for all the lost time. “So what do you feel like doing tonight babe? It’s upto you.” Joe spoke with a small smile as he pulled back from Taylor to go fetch her bags from the doorway before placing them down in the bedroom ready to be unpacked.
As soon as Taylor got back to the mansion with the rest of the people who went she couldn’t wait to get to her room to see Joe. She instantly made her way upstairs to their room as soon as she walked through the front door. She found her room opening the door putting the bags on the floor. She put the cat carrier on the floor letting Meredith out after closing the door. She took off her shoes walking through the small living room looking around. “Joe, where are you babe?” she said as she walked into the kitchen leaning against the counter.
Joe was lay on the bed, flicking through loads of boring and pointless films on netflix since he was so bored without Taylor being here. Hearing the front door open, he stood up and walked towards the voice acknowledging that it was Taylor’s. “Heeey stranger.” Joe spoke as he walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist whilst a smile grew on his face. “I missed you.” He admitted as he spun her around so that she was facing him, making it easier to lean in and connect their lips together.
Hmm sounds like I should challenge that statement, but I won’t because I love you.
I love you too beautiful.

Fine, you win.
Like always.
